Our workshops are for people who love photography and are interested in our working methods as well as our philosophy on nude photography and photography in general. Delegates can be full time professionals; semi-professionals or keen amateurs and all are welcome so long as they have a love for photography
Certainly, developing a personal vision in this subject is important, and there is hands-on guidance throughout the shoot from both Trevor & Faye. The ratio of participants to our models is kept very low, so there is lots of shooting time. You’ll learn how to work with models in a professional manner that creates an environment of trust and collaboration, and how to establish a rhythm to the shoot that encourages artistic feedback and active participation by your model. Additionally, we will spend time critiquing the images the class produces afterwards, so you can have positive feedback to carry you forward into the next shoot.
One very important aspect of all our workshops is we stress the importance of using the model to interpret your vision for the image by demonstrating your idea for the pose and discussing with the model how best to achieve it. It is very easy to allow a model to simply produce their range of flow poses where all you have to do is keep shooting. This then become the models idea and not your own!
Images made on our workshop are intended to be used for inspiration and reference and can be used on the participants website however they should not be used for qualifications (RPS, MPA, BIPP etc) They should not be used for competitions nationally or internationally They should not be used for commercial purposes, ie. selling images both in print or to websites. If images are shared on social media please credit ourselves and our model.
