Since I last updated this page back in June Faye has been recovering slowly from her brush with pneumonia and has just had her CT scan for the ovarian tumour prior to our meeting with her consultant mid September.
Of course life is never without problems and when Faye wanted to get back to work on the computer we discovered that her long serving MAC Pro which is many years old, had decided to remain in a deep slumber! So we purchased a new top of the range Mini Mac which is possibly more powerful than the Pro, however, on setting this up Barrie found that there was an issue pairing it with the old 30″ Mac monitor! So, a new monitor was ordered, Benq 27″ which was perfect.
With winter coming and taking Faye’s condition into account we decided it was not practical for her to work in the office so we set about moving furniture in the dressing room, throwing out a dressing table, new Ikea office desk and new set of drawers. So Faye is now happily settled in a new and warm location in the main house with all she requires to trawl through our archives looking for unpublished work.
As for myself I have been spending time in the darkroom printing a body of work for a client and also making some new prints of previously unseen of our work which has been fun. Several are now framed up in our gallery space and in the days/weeks to come we will be offering Limited Edition prints for sale all matted with Conservation mountboard.
This is a previously unpublished image of Faye’s which I have just made a Platinum/Palladium print off and it looks fabulous.
I think that we will offer this as a small Limited Edition of 5 copies.
