PITODDRIE HOUSE WORKSHOP
For our first post on this new site we go back just over a week to our workshop at Pitoddrie House in Aberdeen. The main objective of this workshop was how to use available light wherever it may be found. These are 2 examples with our models David and Tinkerbell, the first shot inside the hotel using simple daylight from a nearby window while the second image of Faye’s was shot on the steps of the building just before the rain started. Both are quite simple images but show how light can be used and shaped using only a simple reflector off camera. My image is D3 while Faye’s is D700 and post processed with Kubota Dashboard.
In the days and weeks to come we will be adding a considerable amount of content, adding a business link a critique page and many more exciting ideas that we have been thinking about. The great advantage of this site is if you only wish to see a single type of work then simply click on the catagory.
We also hope to add video clips from some of our sessions in the near future but in the meantime I know its only one page at the moment but much more to come and if you would like to comment or make a suggestion of what you would like to see on here or what information would help with your photography than let us know and we will see what we can do.
