As promised yesterday here is an image of Aicha from Sunday’s BOUDOIR SCHOOL workshop. The first image is a partially processed image from RAW and the 2nd image is a fully finished file. Faye used both Kubota and Totally Rad to achieve this.

Sunday saw our last Boudoir School for 2009 but we start again with a new programme on the 2nd of February 2010 @ Maunsel House, North Somerset. Our model for the day was the wonderful Aicha, some of you may have seen her recently on the blog as she was our model at Loxley’s a couple of weeks ago. Aicha is an ideal subject for Boudoir as she did a session with us a couple of years ago and gave the book to Grant, her husband , on their wedding night and we were in the room to get his reaction thus making Aicha the perfect client to tell delegates how much of an impact such a personal gift can be for a groom to receive. We had a great day and spent some time exploring a more 1930’s Hollywood style Boudoir using the Bowens Fresnel spotlight. News on a couple of exciting Limited Edition products we will soon have available just in time for Christmas.

Today’s image of Aicha was the one we selected to work on in front of yesterday’s delegates. Shot with the D300 @ f2.8 and just using the modeling light of the Bowens Fresnel spotlight. Faye has post processed this beautifully in PS using a combination of the Kubota DASHBOARD and TotallyRad actions. Tomorrow we will post another image from Sunday’s workshop where we will show a ‘before and after’.

Hi Faye and Trevor,
Thank you for a wonderful time on Tuesday. I learned loads and am awaiting a moment to put it all into practice. I think my most difficult challenge is the post production – finding a) what I can do and b) my own voice – or rather vision! Christiane is a gem and she looked amazing but I think Boudoir will take me a bit of work before I feel in control. Will line up some pals for the weekend!

Faye and I spent a wonderful day yesterday with our Boudoir delegates and produced some stunning images a few of which we have processed and Faye has finished using Kubota and Totally Rad actions. Hopefully a couple more tomorrow. Thanks to all.

All of our Intimate Boudoir School workshops take place here @ Claremont, West Lothian which is about 20 mins from Edinburgh city centre. These are limited to 4 delegates only We do have our final Boudoir Workshop, limited to 10 delegates,  which will take place on Tuesday the 6th of October 2009 @ Maunsel House, North Somerset.
