HEATING!
Been very quiet recently due to severe central heating problems in arctic conditions here in Scotland at one time we were down at -17.5 and even the diesel in the car froze up so we were stranded. However with a friend like Jason we have been restored to warmth but it does make you wonder what it was like before central heating came along!
This is a 2010 wedding image from the limited number of wedding commissions that we now accept.

The Glasshouse Part 2
This image was created a couple of years ago in one of the suites in the 5* Glasshouse Hotel which has over 200 of our images adorning the walls of all the bedrooms and suites. This was in one of the bathrooms and shot using a BOWENS ring flash.

NAKED RUINS
With the 2011 Convention at the Novotel – Hammersmith – London, fast approaching and with a small exhibition of our work to assemble and print we have been spending the past few days selecting images to be printed using the Platinum/Palladium method direct onto hand coated heavyweight fine art paper. These image are quite unique and of outstanding quality, In addition we will have a selection of our images printed onto Fotospeed 300gsm Platinum Baryta paper stock for sale at affordable prices. One of our favourite models, Victoria, will be looking after our exhibition during the 3 days open to the public.

This is how it’s done!
We have seen several attempts to replicate this image that we created back in 1997 using a Contax G2, Ektachrome 200 underexposed and push processed 3 stops and with addition of my own filter. Perhaps I should add that this is a straight scan from the original transparency and NO use of Photoshop at all.

Home & Snow
Faye and I have spent the weekend judging annual awards together with 9 other highly experienced fellow judges from both the UK and the States. Some wonderful, exciting and thought provoking images were viewed over the 2 days and some intense discussion and exchange of opinions eventually led us to a final decision which I am delighted to say was unanimous. We drove back home yesterday evening due to the weather forecast for Monday looking bad and how right they were. Since early morning the snow has not stopped and has added another 12″ at least to the 3′ we already have in the garden. Looks like we are snowed in yet again so time to select the images that we will be exhibiting at the SWPP Convention in London in January. They will be a selection from our forthcoming book, NAKED RUINS and will all be platinum/palladium prints.
