    MORE FROM MAUNSEL

Another couple of images from Tuesday’s workshop. First we have one of Faye’s beautifully processed images of Anita shot in the same room as yesterday’s images and again with just natural daylight. Once again Kubota DASHboard was our preferred choice of actions to use.

THE BOUDOIR ACADEMY @ MAUNSEL HOUSE

Well as promised here are the first of several images from our recent workshop. Today we have images of Anita De Bauch taken during yesterdays workshop down at Maunsel House in North Somerset. Both shot with daylight Faye on the Nikon D300 with the 24-70 and mine on the Nikon 700 with the 85mm. 1.8. Both of our images of Anita were shot on the same chaise but both have a completely different feel to them.

First my image of Anita shot in the bridal room at Maunsel.  I processed with Kubota DASHboard, added some slight tone and grain to give a very 30’s look to the image.Boudoir 41

Now Faye’s stunning image shot in the bridal room of Maunsel House with natural daylight. Post processed using Kubota DASHboard

    BOUDOIR SUNDAY

We had a wonderful day yesterday with 4 very enthusiastic delegates and Rebecca our fabulous model who endured the train journey from hell to get to us but she made it. We are off to host another Boudoir workshop down in Somerset and so will post images from Sunday’s workshop when we get back. They are well worth waiting for I can assure you. In the menatime here is an image from a previous workshop.

    CHANGE OF NAME

As some of you who have visited our Facebook page will have noticed we have changed our name from The Boudoir School to The Boudoir Academy.  Faye and I agreed that when we launched the page a couple of days ago we would upgrade the name if we managed to reach over 400 friends, which I must say we doubted, but seems Boudoir has its admirers so we changed the name. Boudoir workshop tomorrow, Sunday here @ Claremont for 4 delegates and then we are down to Maunsel House in North Somerset for  a Boudoir workshop in this wonderful building. Next week we will be in the final stages of firming up the dates for our special Boudoir workshops, Bridal Boudoir and Hollywood Boudoir so keep watching either the blog or the Facebook page for details. These promise to be inspiring and creative workshops and again each will be limited to 4 delegates to allow for maximum tuition. Today’s image is one of Faye’s from a Boudoir workshop here at Claremont last year where we try and demonstrate areas of the clients house, hotel bedroom or perhaps your own home that can be used to advantage.
